Wolf Mountain Vineyards, the first winery in Georgia to receive gold medals at the San Francisco Chronicle and Los Angeles International Wine competitions, will be serving up Southern food along with live jazz music for two afternoons in March. Located just an hour-and-a-half drive away from Atlanta in Dahlonega, consider driving up to get away from it all.
Enjoy live jazz and Southern regional cuisine for lunch on March 18 or 25. The cost is $30 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Wine will be for sale by the glass or bottle. Seating for the event is at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Kurt’s Bistro Hosts the 2012 German Wine Makers’ Dinner
Get a taste of Germany right here in Georgia at Kurt’s Bistro’s German Wine Makers Dinner on March 23. Diners can enjoy hor d’oeuvres and a five-course meal for $65 per person, plus tax and tip. Each course is paired with German wines to complement the plates. The courses feature Maine lobster risotto, beef consommé, baby artisan lettuce, veal loin chop and Riesling-poached pear. The wines available include various Rieslings, Pinot Blanc, a Rose, and more.
Limited reservations are available. The patio reception starts at 7 p.m. Dinner begins at 8 p.m.
