It's Peach Season! Check out what Nick Leahy at Saltyard has on offer

For many of us, Georgia peaches are the saving grace of stifling hot Southern summers. Eaten fresh, pickled or brûléed, peaches represent a glorious time of year in the South when local produce is bright and abundant, coastal vacations are enjoyed, and daytime drinking is embraced.

The following succulent seasonal samplings are now available at Saltyard, Atlanta's favorite choice for globally influenced small plates crafted with local ingredients. Helmed by Executive Chef and Co-Owner Nick Leahy, the new summer menu features artful pairings of bright, fresh herbs paired with the synonymous ingredient of our beloved Peach state.

- Bruschetta, herbed ricotta, roasted peach, brûléed , $9
Saltyard offers a selection of seasonal bruschetta year round and the peach bruschetta is a guest favorite you won't want to miss. Executive Chef and Co-Owner Nick Leahy layers a thick cut of sourdough bread with a house-made herb ricotta featuring fresh herbs, lemon zest, and heavy cream. He then gives the fresh Georgia peaches a quick roast in brown butter before torching them in sugar and serving up for your tasting pleasure.

- Burrata, pickled peaches, cornbread crumbs, pepper gastrique, crispy country ham, $14
The creamy oh, so dreamy flavor of Saltyard's house-made burrata is brightened by lemon, thyme, and chili flakes. Pickled peaches give the dish a tasty Southern twist, crispy ham offers a satisfying accent, and cornbread crumbs lend to texture.

About Saltyard:Saltyard delivers a uniquely social dining experience encouraging guests to connect over internationally influenced small plates, craft cocktails and a mostly domestic wine and beer selection. Locally sourced ingredients are featured throughout the restaurant's seasonal menu and the open kitchen and floorplan make it a favorite spot for groups or those looking for a great chef’s table experience. Guests can expect warm, ambient lighting, reclaimed woods mixed with industrial metals and soft banquettes perfect for intimate meals. Saltyard is located in The Brookwood building in South Buckhead and complimentary valet is available in the building’s garage.
