The weeklong online action in October included a beautiful selection of artwork from Vinings Gallery and a wide variety of auction items ranging from Bob Steele Salon and Spa Sydell certificates to exclusive VIP experiences, and a one-in-a-lifetime trip to Napa – a total of 26 items were auctioned for the event.
“We launched Pure Imagination as a way to encourage generosity in children, which is a value that we’ve instilled in our son, Lathan,” said Layla Gunn. “We were blessed with the arrival of our second child earlier this fall, and although we weren’t able to host a full-fledged, in-person fundraising event, we were delighted by the support of our close friends and contacts that made this year’s online auction so successful.”
Mark Gunn added, “We are humbled by our guest’s continued support for Paint the Town and Pure Imagination. We are grateful to be able to help make a difference in the lives of children throughout Atlanta, and we look forward to bringing the Paint the Town event back to Atlanta for years to come.”
The fundraising event, which is held approximately every 18 months, is expected to return in November 2016.
