The Ruby 15

Photographed by Kyle Ripley, Haigwood Studios Yield: 1 serving 1 slice ruby red grapefruit kosher salt or sugar for rimming glass 1 1/2 ounces 100 percent blue agave reposado or añejo tequila (or any tequila) 1 ounce ruby-red grapefruit juice 2 ounces pomegranate juice 1 teaspoon agave nectar, or to taste 1 ounce orange liqueur (we love Torres Magdala Orange liqueur) Moisten rim of a margarita glass or similar glass with grapefruit wedge and dip into salt or sugar. In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, grapefruit and pomegranate juices, agave, and orange liqueur with ice cubes. Shake and strain into rimmed glass filled with ice cubes. Garnish with grapefruit wedge. There’s no better way to celebrate an anniversary than to sip on a signature cocktail, or at least we at Flavors think so. Inspired by the ruby, the gemstone that represents the 15th anniversary, and a hefty shot of the exquisite Torres Magdala Orange liquor, we’ve come up with the perfect way to commemorate our own 15 year anniversary, The Ruby 15.
